People love Cameron!

Don't just take my word for it, here are some people who have enjoyed working with Cameron

Resurrected at 30+ year old project!

Dr. James Ogsbury

In the development and production of this manuscript, Mr. Cowan played multiple roles as my coach. Of course, initially, he read the manuscript and thankfully recognized that there was a message within that might well have public appeal if appropriately written and produced. Thereafter, as noted, Mr. Cowan played a dramatic role in the complete revision of the manuscript which, in essence, changed its entire meaning. Subsequently he played many other roles as well. At times, when needed, he became a personal counselor. Obviously, when one has written an extended manuscript, it is stressful to see the manuscript dramatically altered. However, when this occurred, he was able to demonstrate how each change led to an overall improvement. Finally, and importantly, he has successfully guided me through the many's structural changes that are involved in the production of a book, the writing, the editing, the line editing, the interaction with the company, the marketing plans, and then the many roles that need to be taken with the marketing. Without him, as a novice writer, I would have been totally incapable of addressing the morass of issues that are encountered while producing a book..

I Got Everything I Wanted!

Ally

I got everything I wanted out of the class. This is a good intro to the realities of being a writer. I'm quite satisfied. Cameron answered all questions, took alot of time and care to explain things, let us discuss, gave examples, and made the material and class enjoyable, and easy to learn. His teaching style is really fun and made writing easier, and helped me incorporate all the new information into my goals and writing. This class is the best Zoom class I've had all year. I was not anxious even though classes, and Zoom usually make me anxious. It was a very good learning environment. I learned so much from Cameron. Reading his short story, in one class was a great example, and getting to see his own work in programs, in production, and real life examples, really helped me learn, and made professional writing approachable. I was very impressed with this class and the amount of knowledge Cameron Cowan shared with us. I enjoyed learning from him and I appreciated his attention to details. He answered my questions and the classes questions honestly and with a great deal of enthusiasm and humor. I would highly recommend Cameron and this class.

Very Best Clear and Thorough Critique!

D. Mason Moore

After working for a number of years with more than a dozen other writers, proofreaders, and beta readers I can confidently say that Mr. Cowan is among the very best at providing not only thorough and clear critiques regarding all aspects of a manuscript, but also insightful and practical advice from a craft standpoint that is very hard to find. He is professional, considerate of your time, attentive to detail, and very knowledgeable when it comes to the modern publishing industry. His meticulous critique of over 17,000 words, which came with multiple pages of notes and a two-hour consultation over the phone– all provided in just a few short hours, have been invaluable to my latest project, and his insights into the industry have been a great help in organizing my strategies for getting published. I cannot recommend his services enough.
